Devotional reflection on daily faithfulness and leadership
Today felt like a tapestry threaded with ordinary moments—social media’s hum, steady study rhythms, a Walmart run, and the tug-of-war between heat and cold. In each thread, I sensed Christ’s nearness: He meets me in errands and essays, in quiet patience, and in the small decisions that shape character. The contrast of warmth and winter air mirrored the inner work of resilience, comforts and challenges coexisting, asking me to choose faithfulness rather than ease.
I’m still waiting for the other students at Ohio Christian University to post in our discussion forum, and the pause became a test of leadership. Do I wait passively, or do I model engagement, clarity, and charity? Leadership begins with presence: showing up prepared, asking a better question, and offering a thoughtful synthesis that invites dialogue rather than demands agreement. I can lead by framing the conversation and setting a tone of curiosity and Christ-centered unity.
