🌙 Labor Day 2026 — Night Prayer

“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for Thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety” — Psalm 4:8 (KJV).

Father, as this Labor Day comes to a gentle close, I bring You the work of my hands and the weight of my heart. Thank You for every task completed, every challenge endured, every moment where Your strength carried me farther than my own could.

Tonight, let Your peace settle over me like a soft blanket. Quiet the noise of the day, the worries of tomorrow, and the weariness that lingers in hidden places. Remind me that You see every effort — the visible and the unseen — and You honor the faithfulness behind them.

Lord, bless my rest. Restore what labor has drained. Renew what stress has thinned. Refresh what responsibility has stretched.

As I close my eyes, let Your presence guard my sleep. Let Your joy rise with the morning. And let Your favor guide the work yet ahead.

Into Your hands I place this day. Into Your care I place this night. Into Your strength I place my tomorrow.

Amen.
