🌅 Today’s Devotion — July 29, 2026

“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him” — Lamentations 3:24 (ESV).

There is something sacred about waking up to a new day — not because everything is perfect, but because God has chosen to give you breath, strength, and purpose again. Today is not an accident. It is an assignment.

Some days begin with joy, others with heaviness, and some with questions we don’t yet have answers for. But Scripture reminds us that God Himself is our portion — meaning He is enough for whatever this day holds. Not our strength, not our plans, not our resources… Him.

When the path feels uncertain, He is steady. When your heart feels tired, He is gentle. When you don’t know what to do next, He is already ahead of you.

Hope isn’t a feeling you try to manufacture — it’s a Person you lean on. And He has already stepped into your today with mercy that is new, fresh, and tailored for what you need.

So, walk into this day with confidence. Not because you know what will happen… but because you know Who is with you.

Lord, thank You for the gift of today. Be my portion, my strength, and my hope. Lead me step by step, and let my life reflect Your goodness. Amen.
