Tuesday Devotion — From My Own Journey

This morning, as I woke up, I carried a mix of gratitude and weight. It wasn’t anything dramatic—just the quiet heaviness that comes from trying to balance responsibilities, relationships, and the constant need to stay spiritually grounded. I found myself whispering, “Lord, I’m here. I need You today.”

Over the past week, I’ve noticed how easily my heart drifts into self‑reliance. I try to fix things, manage things, anticipate things. But yesterday, in a moment I didn’t plan, God reminded me that He never asked me to carry life alone. I was driving, thinking through a situation that has been lingering in my mind, and suddenly a sense of peace settled over me—not because the problem was solved, but because I remembered Who was with me.

Today, I’m choosing to lean into that peace.

I’ve learned that God often speaks in the ordinary:

  • A conversation that softens my heart
  • A quiet moment where conviction meets grace
  • A reminder that I’m not defined by yesterday’s mistakes
  • A nudge to slow down and breathe

This morning, He reminded me of Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God.” It wasn’t a command to stop moving, it was an invitation to stop striving. To let Him be God in the places where I’ve been trying to be strong.

So today, I’m walking forward with a renewed awareness that God is present in every detail. He’s shaping me, stretching me, and steadying me. Even when I feel uncertain, He is not. Even when I feel tired, He is my strength. Even when I feel overwhelmed, He is my peace.

My prayer this Tuesday is simple: “Lord, help me to see You in the small things today. Help me to trust You with what I cannot control. And help my heart rest in the truth that You are already working.”

And as I step into the rest of this day, I carry this assurance—God is not just ahead of me; He is with me, guiding each step, whispering reminders of His faithfulness, and shaping my story in ways I don’t always see until later.
