Morning Devotion

🌅 Early Morning Devotion — February 24, 2026

Scripture

“In the morning, LORD, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly.” — Psalm 5:3 (NIV)

Reflection

There is something sacred about the early hours—before the world fully awakens, before responsibilities begin to pull at your attention. This is the hour when your heart is most open, your mind most receptive, and your spirit most aware of God’s nearness.

Today, God invites you into a posture of expectant waiting. Not anxious waiting. Not fearful waiting. But the waiting that trusts the One who hears every whisper, every sigh, every unspoken need.

You don’t have to rush into this day. You don’t have to carry yesterday’s weight. You don’t have to figure out everything ahead of you.
You begin by laying your requests before Him—your hopes, your concerns, your decisions, your desires—and then walking forward with a quiet confidence that He is already working in ways you cannot yet see.

Let this morning be a reminder:
God meets you in the stillness, strengthens you in the waiting, and guides you in the unfolding of the day.

Application

  • Take two slow breaths, releasing yesterday and welcoming God’s presence.
  • Speak one request aloud—something you want to entrust to God today.
  • Walk into the morning expecting God to show up in small, surprising, and meaningful ways.

Prayer

Father, thank You for hearing me this morning.
I place this day in Your hands—every task, every conversation, every decision.
Teach me to wait with trust, to walk with peace, and to listen for Your gentle leading.
Let Your presence steady my heart and guide my steps.
Amen.

Blessings

May the Lord surround you with peace, fill you with clarity, and lead you with wisdom.
Walk into this day knowing you are heard, held, and guided.
