Friday’s Devotional: For the Broken Ones in the World

Finding Hope Amid Brokenness

On this Friday, we pause to acknowledge the brokenness that exists in our world and within ourselves. Sometimes life’s burdens feel too heavy to carry; wounds and disappointments can make us feel isolated and unheard. Yet, in these moments of pain, there is an opportunity to discover hope and healing.

Remember, no one is truly alone in their struggles. There is strength in vulnerability, and comfort in knowing that others have walked similar paths. As you reflect today, open your heart to the gentle possibility that brokenness can become the foundation of new growth, compassion, and deeper connection.

Let’s pray: “God, thank You for seeing us in our brokenness. Help us to trust that You are working even when we don’t see it. Bring peace to our hearts and guide us toward healing, both for ourselves and for the world.”

This Friday, reach out to someone in need, offer a kind word, or simply listen. Small acts of love can mend hearts and remind us all that, together, we are stronger.
