🌅 Morning Devotional — “Strength for the Middle of the Week.”

Scripture

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” — Psalm 28:7

Reflection

As the week unfolds, you may already feel the weight of what has happened and the anticipation of what still lies ahead. Midweek often reveals the truth of our hearts—where we’re leaning, what we’re carrying, and how deeply we’re trusting.

But here’s the grace: God has been present in every step so far, and He is already in the steps you haven’t taken yet.
The strength you needed on Monday was given.
The clarity you sought yesterday was supplied.
And the peace you need today is already waiting for you.

This week has not been random. It has been shaped by God’s steady hand—guiding, correcting, comforting, and strengthening you. Even the moments that felt uncertain have been invitations to lean in closer, breathe deeper, and remember who holds your life.

Let this morning be a reset.
A re-centering.
A reminder that you are not walking into the rest of this week alone.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for carrying me through the week so far.
Thank You for the strength You’ve already given and the grace that has met me each day.
As I step into today, steady my heart, sharpen my focus, and renew my trust.
Be my strength, my shield, and my peace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ask Yourself

  • Where have I seen God’s help so far this week?
  • What burden am I still carrying that I need to release into His hands?
  • What is one thing I can do today to walk in trust rather than tension?

Steps to Take Today

Take a 60‑second pause this morning.
Place your hand over your heart.
Breathe deeply.
Say aloud: “The Lord is my strength for today.”

Let that truth anchor you as you move forward.

Grace and Peace,
