🌅 Morning Devotion — December 14, 2025

Scripture

“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”
— Psalm 27:1 (NIV)

Reflection:

Today’s verse reminds us that God Himself is our light and salvation. Fear whispers that we are alone, but faith proclaims that the Lord is our stronghold. When we anchor ourselves in Him, courage rises, and peace steadies our steps.

Personal Note:

Lately, I’ve been carrying worries about finding stable, in-person work and wondering how my gifts in leadership and teaching will be used in this next season. These concerns feel heavy at times, but Psalm 27:1 reminds me that God is greater than my fears. His light is guiding me, even when the path ahead feels uncertain.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being my stronghold. Help me release my worries into Your hands and walk in Your light today. May my life reflect Your peace and courage to those around me. Amen.

Daily Challenge:

Write down one fear or worry you’ve been carrying. Then, beside it, write Psalm 27:1 as a reminder that God is greater than that fear. Carry this truth with you throughout the day.

Grace and Peace,
